Feng Zhiyu has performed outstandingly in the field of rural renewal and environmental design. His research involves architecture, space and landscape design, with a focus on the design of rural human settlements in the Yangtze River Delta region, achieving abundant results in both theory and practice. He has rich international working experience and has held positions in well-known architectural institutions in the United States and South Korea.

Academically, he has published papers in CSSCI, SSCI, EI and other publications, covering topics such as rural public spaces and elderly participation. In terms of scientific research projects, he has presided over the Youth Pre-research Project of East China Normal University and the “Chenguang Project” in Shanghai, and participated in the empirical research of modern urban parks in Yangzhou and the guideline for urban furniture in Xiong’an New Area.

He has received numerous awards, such as the 2024 iF DESIGN AWARD, and has frequently won awards in teaching innovation and art design competitions, demonstrating his professional quality and innovation ability.
