Qiu Anxiong, was born in Sichuan China in 1972, graduated from Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts in 1994, and graduated from Kassel Academy of Fine Arts in Germany in 2003. He is a representative figure of contemporary ink animation. His works express his critique of contemporary society and his thinking on history and culture in the form of traditional Chinese humanistic spirit combined with new media.
